How can I remove grease/oil stains left over from when I removed candle wax with a hot iron?
Last night a candle spilled onto a new and very expensive sweatshirt. By using paper and a hot iron I was able to remove the bulk of the wax but what I now have left over is a large grease/oil stain from where the wax was removed.
Any ideas on how to remove this?
Try an orange-oil based cleaner. Something specifically for grease. I have one called Orange Miracle that takes out almost anything greasy, but I'm sure there are other brands, too.
